At Mirashift, we focus on CranioSacral Therapy as the heart of our approach to treating the whole person — mind, body, and soul. Our complementary therapies, including Neuromuscular Massage, Positive Psychology, Hypnotherapy, and Yoga Nidra, work alongside CranioSacral Therapy to support balanced, transformative healing and lasting wellness.

We encounter stress of all kinds each day that the body compensates for through a tightening of muscles and soft tissues. This can affect the brain and spinal cord, resulting in impaired function. CST works to release this natural reaction and, as a result, can improve neuromuscular functions, ease emotional pain, and enhance sensory processes and motor coordination. CST is effective for a wide variety of dysfunctions and, since it is so gentle, ideal for people of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a light touch, non-invasive therapy that releases restrictions in the soft tissue that surrounds the central nervous system. This normalization of the environment around the brain and spinal cord increases the body’s ability to self-correct.

Emotions often manifest physically through tension. CranioSacral Therapy (CST) targets and releases these tension areas, optimizing the central nervous system.

Concussion

Concussions and traumatic brain injuries affect the central nervous system, which left untreated could lead to mood disorders. CST offers a successful option for addressing both physical trauma and its impact on connective tissue.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) is a condition affecting the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, causing pain, discomfort, headaches, jaw clicking, and difficulty chewing or opening the mouth. CST can help alleviate TMJ symptoms by gently releasing tension in the soft tissues of the face and jaw. This improves cerebrospinal fluid flow and relieves pressure in the affected areas. CST promotes relaxation, reduces inflammation, and restores natural jaw function, offering long-term relief from pain.

Neuromuscular Massage

Neuromuscular massage is a specialized form of massage that focuses on relieving chronic pain and muscle tension by targeting specific points within the body. When combined with CST, which gently manipulates the central nervous system, the benefits are amplified. This powerful combination not only alleviates physical discomfort but also promotes overall well-being by reducing stress, enhancing relaxation, and improving the body’s natural healing processes. Together, they offer a holistic approach to restoring balance and vitality.

Neuromuscular Massage & CranioSacral Therapy Combo Session

This combination session is ideal for clients interested in CranioSacral Therapy but who feel more comfortable with massage therapy. The two therapies complement each other, allowing for both targeted work on specific physical structures and the release of restrictions throughout the body via the central nervous system.

 

 

Lymphatic Balancing

Lymphatic Balancing is a gentle manual therapy designed to reduce swelling, improve fluid circulation, and support the body's natural detoxification process, while also incorporating the traditional techniques of CranioSacral therapy. By using specialized pumping techniques, Lymphatic Balancing stimulates the movement of lymph and venous fluids, promoting the re-circulation of essential substances, tissue regeneration, and a healthy immune system.

 

This therapy is effective for various conditions, including: edema (swelling), chronic pain and inflammation, fatigue syndromes (including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue), headaches, post-surgical recovery, stress relief and deep relaxation.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a gentle, body-based approach that supports healing through awareness of the body’s felt sense and the nervous system’s natural ability to regulate and restore. Sessions often unfold in stillness, using subtle sensation and attentive listening to improve communication between the brain and body.

SE works beautifully alongside CranioSacral Therapy, helping the nervous system safely release stored stress and long-held patterns while fostering greater ease, clarity, and resilience over time. It offers a respectful, supportive path for those navigating anxiety, chronic tension, or persistent emotional patterns.

Reset, Release, & Rest

A gentle body based practice that uses simple movements to activate the body’s natural tremor response, supporting the release of deep held tension, stress and trauma.  These subtle neurogenic tremors heal the nervous system shift towards greater regulation, ease and balance.

Through restorative movement, self regulation and resilience is found within the body.  This offering can be combined with meditation and sound healing for a 90 minute blissful reset for you.

Yoga Nidra

This highly specific guided meditation, eases tension and helps to dissociate from stressed thoughts through the rotation of consciousness. It is especially beneficial for trauma and anxiety, addressing mental, physical, and emotional levels in the body. This distinct method complements the benefits of a balanced central nervous system, along with CranioSacral therapy.​​
