THERAPY PRACTITIONERS

Monica Hamer is the owner of Mirashift and a Certified CranioSacral Therapist with over 20 years of extensive training through Upledger Institute International (UII). She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy Instructor and also serves as a Certified Teaching Assistant with UII for a variety of CranioSacral classes around the country. Monica integrates CranioSacral therapy's low impact application with other modalities to treat a range of issues that traditional medicine has been unable to address. One thing that sets Monica apart from other therapists is her emphasis on educating her clients on the impact that the mind-body connection has on their overall health. She believes in empowering her clients to look at health from a lifestyle perspective by incorporating a variety of tools that help each individual as opposed to a “magic pill.” The personal time and attention Monica gives is the distinctive quality that creates a safe, therapeutic experience for each of her clients.

Makayla Gentry is a Techniques Certified CranioSacral Therapist with the Upledger Institute International (UII) and Licensed Massage Therapist. Her work reflects a thoughtful, nervous system–informed approach, supporting clients both physically and emotionally through individualized care.

Her primary modalities include CranioSacral Therapy and Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, complemented by advanced skill in Deep Tissue, Sports, and Structural work. Makayla also brings focused experience in supporting concussion recovery and working with pediatric clients.

In addition to her clinical practice, Makayla serves as a Teaching Assistant for UII, where she supports practitioners in developing their understanding of CranioSacral Therapy. This role strengthens her ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, an approach she brings into her sessions through a strong emphasis on client education.

Makayla is known for her calm, grounded presence and her ability to meet clients with both clinical insight and compassion, creating a space where the body can settle, reorganize, and move toward greater balance.

Shon MonDragon is Mirashift’s Guided Meditation and Sound Therapy practitioner, offering one-on-one sessions designed to support nervous system regulation, awareness, and internal restoration.
With a background in counseling, meditation instruction, and sound-based healing, Shon brings a thoughtful and integrative approach to his work. He is a longtime instructor of meditation teacher training programs, guiding others in developing a deeper understanding of awareness-based practices and their role in personal growth.
His sessions are centered around cultivating self-observation and creating space for the nervous system to restore balance. Rather than directing what to think, Shon helps clients develop a greater awareness of their internal experience—supporting clarity, regulation, and a more grounded connection to themselves.

Shon is known for his calm, steady presence and his ability to create a supportive environment where clients can reconnect, restore, and develop greater agency within their own healing process.

Kim Cox is a certified yoga therapist with International Association of Yoga Therapists and Yoga Alliance, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner through Peter Levine’s trauma healing, and lives in Austin, TX. Kim’s private practice incorporates somatic experiencing and yoga therapy for the release of trauma through felt sense awareness. Through (SE), Kim’s clients contain and renegotiate the effects of trauma, affirming experiencing a more purposeful, passionate and authentic life because of the release, equilibrium and healing that somatic work provides.

Kim offers somatic movement classes and one on one sessions, in person and remote. Through the combination of repetitive movement, sound and breath work, energy that is blocked or stuck has the potential for release. By intensifying the tremor mechanism, and then settling over and again the body begins to build a greater container to feel into discomfort. This modality creates discharge and flow in the body, mind and emotions.

Isa d’Etienne grew up in Dallas, Texas, and has always been deeply curious about people – why we feel the way we do and how we experience life. This curiosity led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology, where she explored the connections between mind, body, culture, and human behavior.

Isa is a skilled lymphatic therapist whose work focuses on supporting the body’s natural fluid movement while encouraging nervous system regulation and overall structural balance. She integrates Lymphatic Balancing with the gentle principles of CranioSacral Therapy, helping the body restore healthy circulation while supporting the body’s innate capacity for healing.

She completed her massage therapy training in 2021 and began her CranioSacral Therapy studies with the Upledger Institute International (UII) in 2023, where she continues to deepen her training. Isa also serves as a teaching assistant for UII foundational CST courses, supporting new practitioners as they learn the principles and techniques of CranioSacral Therapy.

Isa brings a thoughtful, grounded presence to her sessions and enjoys supporting clients as they reconnect with balance, awareness, and overall well-being.
